Satloc has added a convenient way to keep Bantam 2 software up to date via Wi-Fi. Users can now connect their Bantam 2 system to an available Wi-Fi network and check for and install the newest software version directly from the unit.

Important: Your Bantam 2 system must be running software version 12-5-87-7 or higher to use the Wi-Fi update tools. If your system is running an earlier version, please contact Satloc Support. Our support team will help you update your system so you can access the Wi-Fi update functionality.

What’s New

Wi-Fi Software Updates

• Connect Bantam 2 to an available Wi-Fi network directly through the AirTrac Setup screen.
• Check for available software updates from the Bantam 2 launcher.
• Select and install the newest available software version directly on Bantam 2.
• Refresh the available software list when needed to check for the latest version.

How to Update

Before checking for an update, confirm your Bantam 2 is running version 12-5-87-7 or higher, then connect Bantam 2 to Wi-Fi.

From the AirTrac Setup screen, select WiFi Networks, choose the desired network, and tap CONNECT. Enter the Wi-Fi password and confirm the system shows Connected to [network].

Once connected, return to the Bantam 2 launcher. When Update Available is displayed, tap Settings, then select the yellow UPDATE button. Select the newest software version shown, then tap UPDATE to begin installation.

Keep the Bantam 2 powered on and connected to Wi-Fi for the entire update process. If no update is listed, confirm the Wi-Fi connection and select REFRESH on the Update Version screen.
