Valley Air Crafts has been a well-known resource for California’s Central Valley aerial applicators since 1984. The company is owned by Michael Schoenau and is based at Mefford Field Airport (TLR) in Tulare, California. Valley Air Crafts became an Air Tractor authorized service center in 1996 and an Air Tractor dealer in 2005. In 2019, the company expanded its Air Tractor territory beyond California to include Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

In 2023, Valley Air Crafts acquired Johnston Aircraft Service, also located at Mefford Field. The acquisition retained the same personnel, parts availability, and shop capabilities, combining the resources of both companies to provide stronger sales, service, and parts support for customers in Tulare and throughout the Northwest United States. Valley Air Crafts is an Air Tractor factory authorized wing removal and reinstallation specialist.

As an authorized Satloc dealer, Valley Air Crafts provides sales and support for Satloc GPS guidance systems alongside Air Tractor aircraft sales, parts, and maintenance.
