Agrotec was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The company brings solutions and technology to the agricultural aviation sector, starting with the training of technical personnel for ag aviation operations.

Agrotec was the first private company in Brazil to receive government authorization to conduct Agricultural Aviation Executor and Coordinator courses. Between 1992 and 2004, the company ran twenty editions of these courses, training approximately 400 professionals. When GPS technology arrived in Brazilian ag aviation in 1995, Agrotec became involved in this new technology, dedicating itself to the training of personnel, especially pilots. In 1998, as a Satloc Authorized Service Center, it started to provide maintenance services to Brazil and Uruguay. As of 1999, the company began importing and selling Satloc equipment in Brazil.

Agrotec is an authorized dealer for all Satloc and Micronair systems, offering a full workshop and repair service for all products from these brands. The company carries expertise across all models of Satloc DGPS equipment and partners with Satloc, Transland, and Micronair to provide operators with advanced precision ag aviation technology. Agrotec also maintains a second office in Primavera do Leste, Mato Grosso, extending its service reach into Brazil’s central agricultural heartland.
