At Transland, we believe every Pilot and Grower deserves great aerial ag flow control. So, our team of Satloc engineers spent more than two years in research and development to improve the IntelliFlow 2. Next, the team created several prototypes to meet customers’ requests to make the IntelliFlow more rugged, easier and cleaner to install, and reduce the footprint. Then, experienced pilots tested the IntelliFlow 3 in flight.

Satloc is proud to present IntelliFlow 3 (IF3).

The Only Dry & Wet Combination Dispersal System in one Controller

IntelliFlow 2 and 3 are the only combination dry and wet dispersal systems in the industry built into a single controller. With the IF3 on board, in conjunction with a Satloc GPS system, the pair automatically controls aerial spray rates and dry application rates. As a result, the IF3 working with a Satloc GPS can produce highly accurate constant rate applications. Also, the IF3 and GPS make precise variable rate applications using prescription maps (PMAPs). The required application rates are pilot selectable. Or, PMAPs can be created using Satloc MapStar® desktop software.

What an Expert Says

“The IF3 is contained in one controller box, making it withstand more rugged conditions than the IF2. It’s also easier to install. The IntelliFlow 3 is the only option you would want to have right now for flow control. Also, it’s the only dry and wet option available in the industry. There is no other competition out there.”  – Mike Lee, the owner of Earl’s Flying Service in Missouri

Dispersal Rates

A pilot enters the desired rates through the GPS interface. As a result, the IF3 system will regulate and maintain selected rates. Once installed, the Satloc Falcon, Satloc G4, or Satloc Bantam GPS controls the IF3 system settings for the liquid. The Falcon and G4 GPS systems work with both dry and liquid applications. Dispersal rates are automatically controlled with an accurate constant applied rate or a variable rate based on prescription maps (PMAPs) in the GPS system. Fine-tune applications through the rate bump feature for more precise applications.

Multiple Mounting Options

Customers shared their desire for different mounting possibilities for Satloc’s next-gen combination dry and liquid dispersal system, so the engineers responded. As a result, the IntelliFlow 3 offers rack mounting and horizontal mounting. This well-thought-out feature allows the pilots to install the IntelliFlow 3 aerial spraying system in locations that best fit their planes.

Compatibility

The Satloc Falcon and G4 GPS systems will switch between liquid and dry settings with ease, resulting  in better drift mitigation for aerial ag flow control. The Bantam GPS system only applies liquid. Click on the links to view the selection of Satloc GPS systems: Falcon/Falcon Pro GPS systems, G4 GPS system, and Bantam GPS system.

Functionality with Booms and Nozzles

Equally important is the functionality of IntelliFlow 3 with other aerial ag application components.

Often, application issues are due to improper flow meter selection. There is NOT a one-size-fits-all. To ensure accuracy, you need the right-sized meter.

Weldless Stainless Steel Boom

The IF3 works well with Transland’s Weldless Stainless Steel Booms. The new, patent-pending weldless stainless steel booms eliminate the need for welding at the outlets. This innovative process maintains the strength and durability of the steel and takes away the crack initiation points. This helps prevent cracking of the boom.

Boom Shut-Off Kits

The IF3 also manages drift with Boom Shut-Off Kits. Transland engineers created a compact design for the partial boom shut-off to reduce drag and effect on spray pattern. Sectional control is done with electric valves. To meet the various pilots’ needs, the shut-off kits work with classic Transland booms and the new, patent-pending weldless stainless steel booms.

CP Nozzles

CP aerial nozzles work well IntelliFlow 3. The nozzles are easy to use and maintain. Multiple orifice options on all CP nozzles keep applicators working with minimum time spent changing nozzles. As a result, better time efficiency is obtained.
